THE CONSENT
THE PRINCIPLE OF DEVELOPMENT AND ACCESS ON THE SITE HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED THROUGH THE GRANTING OF OUTLINE CONSENT IN 2021 BY THE BROADLAND DISTRICT COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE.
Crest Nicholson is bringing forward a reserved matters application, which contains the specific detail relating to the appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of the development.
The development will deliver a variety of home sizes and types for residents and families of different ages and backgrounds. Homes will generally be detached or semi-detached but will also include small terraces of up to 3 homes and maisonettes. The majority of dwellings will be 2 storeys with the addition of some 2.5 storey homes.

Importantly, the development will include affordable family homes that will contribute to Broadland’s housing need. 33% of all the homes built will be affordable, this equates to 68 homes, with a 60:40 tenure split (affordable homes for rent or shared ownership). The development will deliver a variety of new homes for families of all sizes. This includes:
-
16 x 1 bed homes (8%)
-
40 x 2 bed homes (20%)
-
99 x 3 bed homes (48%)
-
50 x 4 bed homes (24%)
